Author: Simorne Januarie
Simorne Januarie is a Namibian writer and poet whose work explores themes of identity, resilience, and cultural memory, particularly within the coloured community. Deeply influenced by the environments and traditions that shaped her upbringing, as well as the literary legacy of Pieter Snyders, she seeks to create a literary space that reflects and affirms the experiences of her community—something she longed for but rarely saw represented in her formative years. Simorne holds a bachelor's degree in logistics and supply chain management.
